Organised by Future MOLDS Communities, the four-hour session was held at the Barking Learning Centre on Tuesday, October 18.

A former Avon lady, Arinola told the group how she came up with the idea for her game.

“My daughter was bringing a friend home from school when I was not around and cooking for them on a regular basis,” she said.

“I said ‘you’re wasting money’, and thought, ‘how I could go about talking to young people about managing money in a fun way, so i came up with the game.

I had the amazing opportunity to be a speaker at the event where I posed for a photo with Cllr Bright. As you can imagine, I thought it was an event for fun!?? More
