The Mayor Cllr Simon Bremner and Cllr Lynda Rice attended the launch of the bMoneywize maths skills game at James Cambell Primary School last week. Aimed at making young people more financially aware, it is one way young people can be taught money management skills as it challenges them using real life scenarios to plan ahead for financial security through play. Many schools have already trialled the game in their citizenship curriculum lessons. If you have children or young relatives, think of ways you can help them to become more financially aware and how to handle money responsibly.
